Passepartout / Mountboard 
Das Passepartout schützt vor Beschädigungen und erfüllt vor allem eine ästhetische Funktion. Aufgrund langjähriger Erfahrungen haben wir uns bei der Wahl des Passepartouts für den Museumskarton MSK / Naturweiss oder Weiss, Stärke 2,6 mm entschieden. Aus Kostengründen befestigen wir den Ausschnitt - sofern das Exponat eine Rückwand benötigt - rückseitig. Optional können Sie als separate Rückwand aber auch MSK - (Stärke 1,3 mm / 2,0 mm) oder unseren Karton (weiss, Stärke 2,0 mm) wählen. Zu den Kosten fürs Passepartout rechnen Sie dann bitte den Preis der entsprechenden Rückwand. Die Maße sind Normformate und dienen u.a. als Richtwert für Ihren individuellen Zuschnitt. ► MSK-Natur Museums-Qualität (weiss, Stärke1,3 mm, 2,0 mm u. 2,6 mm)

Through many years of experience we prefer using mountboard from museum cardboard, MSK-Natural (white, 2,6mm thick). If the art work requires a suporting back we use the mounting cut out to reduce cost. Optionally you can choose a separate back of MSK-Natural (thickness 1,3mm / 2,0mm) or our cardboard (white, thickness 2,0mm). Please add the cost for the back to the cost of the mountboard when calculating prices. The sizes quoted are standard sizes and serve to show the approximate cost of the individual cuts. ► MSK – Natural museum quality (white, thickness 1,3mm, 2,0mm, and 2,6mm) in accordance with DIN ISO 9706 – highly ageing resistant – high light trueness – effective moisture protection.
► Backing cardboard – (grey paper with both sides laminated bright white)Limited ageing resistance, limited neutralization of acid, limited moisture protection and precautionary care must be taken when contact is made with original art works.
